US distributor takes Angolan kuduro singers to "world music"

Luanda – The official of the US production firm Akwaaba Music, Benjamin Lebrave, committed himself on Wednesday, in Luanda, to diffusing aggressively the Angolan young generation music genre Kuduro in Europe, Africa and America, through a project of
distributing video clips of national artists on the Internet.

 

Speaking to ANGOP, the official said that he signed a contract with a few Angolan kuduro musicians, whose videos are already available in his "blog".

 

Benjamin Lebrave explained that until this moment, he has the authorisation to divulge in US the videos of the singers Zoca Zoca, Camon and the group Vagabanda and they are negotiating with the artists Puto Lilás and Pai Diesel, as well as with the group Lambas.
