Paulo Flores launches new album in April


Luanda – Terra-Eventos Records has set April  2009 as the month for the release of singer Paulo Flores' latest album entitled “Ex-Combatentes”, a three-CD set.

 

“Viagem”, “Sembas” and “Ilhas” are the titles of the three CDs, that will please the fans with 27 songs (nine in each disc), some of which are cover versions of Angolan and Cape Verdean classics, and the rest are new songs produced in Angola, Portugal and Brazil.

 

Paulo Flores had assistance from national artists like the producer Eduardo Paím, guitarist Boto Trindade, the Maravilha Band, as well as the Cape Verdean Mayra Andrade, Brazilian and Portuguese singers to complete this project.

 

The trilogy “Ex-Combatentes” (“Viagem”, “Sembas” and “Ilhas”) is a reflection of what the artist feels in relation to the everyday transformations that he observes.
