Luanda, – The Angolan minister of Culture, Rosa Cruz e Silva, defended on Tuesday here a better use of students trained at arts schools of the National Artistic Training Institute (INFA) by giving them opportunity to work in the institution and in general teaching schools.
This idea was expressed after a work visit to the National Museum of Natural History and the National Artistic Training Institute (INFA).
Speaking to press, the Government official said that ''we cannot leave the work done in the schools of arts in strange hands so that all the artistic exhibitions have a scientific stamp. We should work to recuperate the teachers and consequently have a better result''.
The minister believes that the multiplication of staff will be possible and in the country a work with better quality will be done with rigour and with professionalism in all areas.
In order to reach the goal, Rosa Silva added that there is a need to re-qualify and qualify the teachers of arts institutions to overpass the obstacles and consolidate the knowledge of teachers with training sessions in the country and outside the country.
Related to the gain of the students, the minister said that it is necessary to take advantage of cultural spaces by organizing shows, exhibitions, conferences and training sessions.
