Kuito- Angolan deputy minister of Culture, Cornélio Calei, is expected this Friday in Kuito city, central Bié province, to assess activities carried out by the sector in this region.
According to a press note made available to ANGOP, Cornélio Calei will hold a courtesy meeting with the governor of Bié province, Cândida Celeste da Silva, and will attend the activities making the Pan-African Women's Day, being celebrated this Friday (August 31).
During his stay, the deputy Culture minister will visit the monument of martyrs of the Kuito resistance, seven kilometres to the north of this capital city, the construction works of the provincial museum of the first Angolan President, António Agostinho Neto, and the district library, respectively.
The government official will also meet with the council of the local culture department.
