Frankfurt - Angolan student residing in Germany is participating since last November in a competition for the discovery of new talents, worth 100.000 euros, promoted by a local television station, ANGOP has learnt.
Living in that European country since the age of 12, she is one of the three African talents that have survived the four eliminatory stages, after her entrance to the Top 30, among over 30,000 contestants.
In the first phase she sang the song “Better in Time”, by the British Leona Lewis, herself a product of this competition, whereas in the following stage she sang “Tatto” by Jordin Sparks.
Speaking to ANGOP, the Angolan citizen that is participating in this event under the number 10281 said that more than getting the money, her greatest ambition is to show her talent, reason why she has decided to enter this competition.
Celma Ribas said that after the competition she will only work hard to finish her compact disc entitled Energia (Energy), whose release should take place between May and June this year, in Luanda.
