Writer Yelisa Visimilo to release book on Friday

 

Huambo  – The Angolan writer Yesila Visimilo will release on Friday her book entitled “Navegando no Tempo” of in the central Huambo province, as part of the festivities of the 100th founding anniversary of the city, to be marked on September 21.


According to a press note released to Angop on Wednesday, the 62-page book was edited by Australivros publishers and comprises 48 poems.


The document reads that the book is inspired by an altruist desire to ensure the human condition during old age.


According to the author, the book is intended to increase her actions in the project that supports the elderly residing in the foster home of Chivela (outskirts of Huambo city) where she will send 10 percent of the revenues from the sales of the book.


Yesila Visimilo was born in Huambo province and currently lives in Luanda, where she works has a nurse at Sagrada Esperança Clinic.
