Ten candidates at Luanda song festival on Friday

Luanda - At least 10 people will participate on Friday in the 15th Festival of Luanda Song and will sing the late Angolan singer André Mingas, who died in 2011, Angop has learnt.


The festival is an initiative of Luanda Antena Comercial (LAC) radio station and aims at celebrating the 20 years of the existence of this media organ and is to grant a homage to André Mingas, one of the references f the Angola music hall.


The artists will be backed by the guitar player Simon Mansini and a band created by him for this purpose. Among them are Hélio Cruz, Dalú Roger, Nino Jazz, two Cuban teachers of music and poem talented young boys.
