Sara Derm wins Luanda Song Festival

Luanda  – Sara Derm, 25, last Thursday in Luanda’s Atlântico Cinema won the 2012 Luanda Song Festival,
with the song “Coisa do Amor”, having participated in two categories, namely Great Song Prize and Best Voice.

With this victory she was awarded 20,000 US dollars.

Speaking about her victory, Sara Derm said she was very happy and that she worked very hard to achieve this objective.

“I am very honoured to sing a song by André Mingas, one of the greatest Angolan musicians. Now I am going after my music
career by recording an album”, she revealed.

The ceremony was enlivened by the Brazilian singer Maria Gadú, who will be performing again this Saturday, in the same
venue, at 08.00 pm.
