Luanda – The novel book entitled “Hebo”, which means prolonged pregnancy, by Angolan writer João Miranda, was presented Thursday in the premises of the Angolan Writers Association (UEA).
With 198 pages the book is a remarkable sociological work, which turns into a novel aspects of the country’s socio-political history.
Presented by writer Jomo Fortunato, the book portrays also the time of ideologies and the reunion of various displaced families.
The presentation of the book counted on the presence of politicians, members of the National Assembly, government officials, diplomatic body accredited in Angola, the late wife of UN special representative to Angola (Alioune Blondin Beye), Beye Kadi, as well as families and friends.
João Miranda is also the author of the books “Nambuangongo” (1998) and “Pathelo-a-Kuma, O Menino Inteligente”.
