Angolan singer urges more divulging of gospel music

Luanda– The Angolan musician Ermerson José on Wednesday, here, urged more intervention of the civil society in divulging gospel music, compared to other music genres produced and promoted in the country.

 

In an interview to ANGOP, in the ambit of the announcement of the launching of the first CD of the Elisama band, expected for August, complained about the fact that gospel music in the country is less broadcast compared to other music genres.

 

In a similar analysis, the head of the band indicated as a solution the participation of the churches, the media and the makers of the genre, in playing a more active role in spreading the gospel music.

 

The Elisama band will release their first album, entitled "Calvário de justiça", in the first fortnight of August, at Chá de Caxinde cultural venue, in Luanda.
