Luanda - The Angolan musician Guiselda Tainaira Salgueiro Portelinha “Selda”, will present on Saturday July 14 in Luanda, the first album called “Morena Cá”.
The singer said that the 12-track CD, including four promotional respectively, Aquela Rua, Palavras Doces, Apaixonada and Mufete, this last one honours the late musician André Minga.
Selda stressed that the album contains new songs, with the composition of the great musicians of our market like Felipe Zau, Felipe Mukenka, Toto, Guiselda and composer and critic Jomo Fortunato.
“Morena de Cá” will be sold and autographed on July 21-22 at Independence Square, in the Belas Shopping and Calor Tropical Hotel.
The singer was born in Huambo province, but it was at the age of 12 in the country's capital, Luanda, that she had the first contacts with music, influenced by her grandmother who sang fado, the father who was a freelance DJ in RNA and uncle musician Toy Salgueiro.
