Luanda – The Angolan writer Marta Santos launched on Friday, at Angola Writers Union (UEA), here, her latest book entitled “A voz e o percurso de um povo”, which portrays the biography of the “King” of Angolan music, Elias Dya Kimuezo.
At the event, the vice minister of Culture and writer, Cornélio Caley, said that the book represents a tribute to Angolan history, since it will contribute so that the future generations know the cultural history of Angola.
With two thousand copies, the book has pictures and portrays the artistic life of the king of Angolan music, who this year completed five decades of musical career.
The book is being sold for 4,500 kwanzas.
