Psychologist Encarnação Pimenta releases new book


  Huambo – The Angolan psychologist Maria da Encarnação Pimenta presented this Saturday at Angolan National Rádio station of Huambo, her latest book entitled “Amantes, Concubinas ou Esposas”.


 
The 331-page highlights polygamy in Angola and the African continent, as well as its consequences at home.

 

In an interview to Angop, the writer said that the book aims at making the public reflect on marriage, particularly members of the Catholic Church.

 

According to the psychologist, it is imperative to reflect on the influence of monogamous marriage in the lives of Angolan families and its impact on building the social standard and development of moral and religious values of the individual.
