Book fair to encourage children reading

Caxito - The deputy governor of the province of Bengo, Elvira Van-Dunem,
Friday in Caxito, said the fifth edition of the Child Book Fair is a reading
incentive for children.

The official made this statement at opening ceremony of the Child Book
Fair, which runs under the motto “Ler é saber, ler é crescer”, with an exhibition
of over 2,000 titles of several national writers.

Elvira Van-Dúnem issued a challenge to the children present and pointed that
she would like a child of any school in the province of Bengo write a story,
short story or poetry, to be presented in a book.

She called on the children of Bengo province to read more and urged parents
to buy many books, for a plausible growth.
