Luanda - The winners of the 2010/2011 edition of “Quem me dera ser Onda” contest will be awarded on June 23, at the Angolan Writers Union (UEA).
According to a press note issued by this institution, arrived Thursday in ANGOP, alongside this ceremony will be released three child books, in the presence of representatives of the Sol Bank and Credit and Saving Bank (BPC), sponsoring organs and the members of jury.
The writing contest of the same edition has the participation of 14 competitors from public and private schools.
The competition aimed to select three candidates who have the best classification and framing in the juvenile category, the lightness and simplicity of the themes, as well as creativity and imagination.
The distinguished of the 2010/2011 edition are Victorina Masseu Antonio, first place, with the work “Sita a Menina Carente and Abandonada” student of the ICRA, Moniz Mario Monteiro Marques, 2nd place, with “Lagrimas do Girassol”, student of the Management Institute in Kicolo and Diansambo Zola Miguel Massambo, with “Perdido na Rua”, student of the Andala Palanca College.
The writer Maria Eugenia Neto is the president of the jury, comprised by Celestina Fernandes, Maria Rita, Teresa Costa, both teachers of the Higher Institute of Education Science (ISCED) and Esmael de Jesus Garcia.
