Luanda – The National Kuduro Music Association dubbed “ADEKA” was on Saturday proclaimed in one of the hotels in Luanda.
Speaking to Angop, the chairman of ADEKA, Luís Amaro Pinto de Andrade, said that the main objective of the association is to stimulate the study of performing practice of Kuduro music.
He said that the association also aims to safeguard, defend in an organised way its members’ interests and rights, as well as expands and valorise this music style.
According to him, the association will help the singers to release CDs through local producers, as well as their professional and academic training.
Kuduro was founded in Angola as dance that evolved in a music style, resulting now from a mixture of various music genres such as sungura, Afro Zouk and Semba.
