Launching of Neto's book marks Africa Day

Yeosu – The whole book by the first and late Angolan President, António Agostinho Neto entitled “"Sagrada esperança”, “Renuncia Impossível” and “Amanhecer”, translated into Korean language, is being released this Friday at the national pavilion at Expo Yeosu 2012.

The releasing of the book is aimed to celebrate the Africa Day, being marked on May 25 and the 90th anniversary of the Angolan nation founder on September 10.

According to the activity programme, which reached Angop on Thursday, it comprises the welcoming speeches by the National Commissioner of Expo, Albina Assis, Angolan ambassador to South Korea, Albino Malungo and a representative of Hankuk University, responsible for the translation of the book into Korean language.

The presentation of the book will be under the responsibility of the chairwoman of Agostinho Neto Foundation, Maria Eugenia Neto.

The celebrations of Africa Day also include parading of African countries, with the gathering to take place in the Angolan pavilion at the Expo Hall.

In the evening, a gala dinner will be served in the venue dubbed “Multi-Purpose Hall”, preceded by speeches of Albina Assis and a representative of an AU’s country.

Fashion parading and music-cultural show are also part of the programme to mark Africa Day at Expo Yesou 2012.
