Luanda hosts first National Trova Festival

Luanda - The 1st National Trova Festival, promoted by Antonio Agostinho Neto Foundation, will be taking place Saturday in Luanda, Angop learned.

 

According to a statement from the Agostinho Neto Foundation that reached ANGOP, the event will record the participation of trova players from the 18 provinces of the country, which will provide a new opportunity for the emergence of new values in Angolan music.

 

The event will feature special musicians like Gabriel Tchiema and Angela Ferrão.

 

The António Agostinho Neto Foundation was established in September 2007 in Luanda, with the purpose of continuing the works of the founder of the Angolan Nation, the first and late head of State.
