Country to graduate 500 students in 2013


Luanda - Angola will graduate 500 students in 2013 against the current 100, revealed the State secretary for Higher Education, Adão do Nascimento.  

 

 
The official said so while speaking at the 8th International Congress on Higher Education, dubbed "Universidade 2012", taking place in Cuba.

 

 
He said that Angola has been taking steady steps in the construction of new institutions seeking to affirm a strategic vision towards having qualified cadres, creating an environment for permanent promotion of pedagogic and academic activity.

 


The official also said that priority has been given to training of cadres in Cuba, in the fields of health sciences, medical sciences and health technologies.
