Luanda - The university lecturer Ndombele Silva presented on Wednesday his first work entitled Azombo, which is about habits and customs of the Maquela do Zombo region, northern Uije Province, ANGOP witnessed.
The book speaks about matters such as the family, traditional marriage, woman and subordination, polygamy, sterility within a couple, illness, death, heritage, religious service, mourning, religion, businesses and the traditional law, says the author.
"I write about this ethno-linguistic group of Maquela do Zombo, because since a very young age I’ve wanted to know about its roots. That’s what made me write this history", he explained.
At least 1.000 copies of the 167-page book are available.
