64 carnival groups to parade in Mbanza Kongo City

Mbanza Kongo – At least 64 groups in Zaire Province will participate in the 2012 edition of the carnival in Mbanza Kongo City, the director of culture, Biluka Nsakala Nsenga, has informed.


The official said the culture department has granted 5.0 million Kwanzas for the preparation of the event and award of prizes to the carnival groups.


"We have already started distributing the amounts and the clothes for the carnival that is to start on February 21", he said.
