American jazz quartet to play in Luanda

Luanda - The American jazz quartet Luxion/Michael Raynor is to promote as of Thursday until February 14, a series of music and educative shows, as well as professional exchanges with Angolan artists.


A press note from the US Embassy to Angola says that the visit is part of the cultural interchange programme with the US Department of State.


During their stay in Luanda, the band will interact with young musicians from Dom Bosco Centre and will participate in radio and television programmes.


The band, from Chicago, Illinois, play an original hard swinging jazz.
