Professional card to boost civic education process

Huambo - The chairman of the Committee of the National Union of Artists and Composers (UNAC), Manuel Arnaldo Calado, said Thursday in central Huambo province that the access to professional card by artists will boost the process of civic education going on in the country.

Speaking to Angop at the end of a visit to media organs in the region, Manuel Arnaldo Calado said the professional card will allow makers of culture to develop a spirit of civic conduct and responsibility.

The official announced for April the first phase of distribution of the professionals card to artists and spoke of the need for more places for culture makers at the level of the radio to moralise the society.

The UNAC chairman was in central province of Huambo for a 48 hours visit.
