Lubango – The university student of theology, Belchior Tchihopio presents to the readers of Lubango, on Friday, his first book entitled "Gotas de Lagrimas”.
Speaking to the press, the writer said that the book includes 47 pages of poetry and was published by the Intercontinental University of the Missionaries of Guadalupe in Mexico with 2,000 copies.
Belchior Tchihopio also said that the book tells the story of some Angolan nationalists like Agostinho Neto, who gave contribution to the country’s independence.
The book highlights the poems, “Herói da Palanca”, “Guerra”, “A Paz”, “O Futuro”, “A Formação”, “Terra que canta em si”, “Meu berço”, “A Luta desesperada” and “Rodopio do meu orgulho”.
The book, "Gotas de Lagrimas" was released in December in the province of Benguela.
With a bachelor's degree in philosophy, Belchior Tchihopio, mostly known by the literary pseudonym of "Kandimblé" was born in 1988 in the city of Lubango.
