Culture minister wants more incentives for sculptors, painters

Cabinda– The minister of Culture, Rosa Cruz e Silva, Friday in Cabinda, called on public and private institutions to promote encouragements aimed at supporting sculptors and painters, in order to enrich the arts.

 

Rosa Cruz e Silva made this statement when opening BAI Arte exhibition in one of the city hotels.

 

The Cabinet minister praised the bank initiative in promoting and divulging the national culture, having referred that “one people’s culture is identified in different manner and ways, where creativity of sculptors and painters are highlighted that inspire in their arts the country’s reality”.

 

Rosa Cruz e Silva expressed surprise with the work of artists of the northern region of the country for the creativity, innovation and history that the northern part of the country represents through its creativity, innovation and history that represents people of the region.

 

On the other hand, the deputy governor of Cabinda for political and social area, Matilde da Lomba, praised organizers of the event in the province, since it will value and encourage the work of the region’s artists.
