Luanda – Angolan gastronomy is present at Angola pavilion in Expo Shanghai 2010, with delicacies such as calulú, mufete, moamba and cacusso, being cooked by chef Rui Sá.

 

In a statement to ANGOP, in Shanghai City, the gastronomist stated that “Angolan food was already considered as a one of the best in Africa, whose dishes are greatly appreciated by foreigners and Chinese people of Taiwan”.


In terms of drinks, Rui Sá highlighted that juice of baobab fruit and tamarind fruit, as being national.


With 25 years of experience in the field of gastronomy, Rui de Sá was directly connected to management of a restaurant in Expo Germany, which was a success for him, who also worked as chef in France, Portugal and Angola.
