Ethnography museum receives 2.500 visitors

Lobito – The Regional Ethnography Museum of Lobito District, in the central Benguela Province, annually receives 2.500 visitors, among them students and foreign citizens.

This information was given on Tuesday by the museum’s director, Cipriano Quintas de Sousa.

Speaking to ANGOP in the ambit of the International Museum Day, which was marked on Tuesday, Cipriano de Sousa said that the average of 2.500 visits per year is because of the increase in the number of students in the region.

According to him, besides Angolan students, various foreign citizens (tourists) are also interested in learning about the Angolan culture through the Ethnographic museum.

The Regional Ethnography Museum of Lobito District has about 27 employees.
