Luanda – The Angolan Culture minister Rosa Cruz e Silva has reiterated the need of society, particularly the architects, to preserve the monuments and other historical buildings keeping the cultural identity of the Angolan people.
Speaking to the participants at the opening of round table on the “role of architects in the preservation of built property”, Rosa Cruz e Silva highlighted that the protection of the Angolan cultural assets requires a national campaign of preservation of cultural heritage.
The minister said that the main measure adopted by the organs of Culture Ministry's authorities for the preservation of the cultural asset is the registration process followed, in many cases, by their classification.
