Luanda - The Angolan fashion designer Luena Gouveia will launch Thursday, in the national market, a brand named “Lubango”, in a ceremony set to be held at Endiama Complex in Luanda.
According to the designer, the collection is based on the 1980’s, a decade she considers full of extravagance, with strong colours and also full of improvements made in various areas of world culture.
She added that the collection took many influences from the 19 80’s which can be illustrated in the colour cold, which was frequently used in the 1980’s and also on lace-works, also other important item during that period.
Born in Luanda on March 29, 1981, Luena Gouveia said that she has inherited the flair for fashion design from her mother (who is also a designer) and an aunt.
