Etu-Lene plays "Traição arde como ditumbate"

Luanda – Theatre group Etu-Lene display Sunday, here, at Kilamba Recreative and Cultural Centre, a play called “A traição arde como ditumbante”.

According to the group’s director, Beto Cassua, the work portrays the story of young Ukumbo, who after getting high status in life he despised his mother, showing only interest to his girlfriend, with whom he intends to marry.

The young man's behaviour irritates the neighbours, when his mother is hospitalised and Ukumbo rejects to give financial support, alleging that his future wife is the only one who should benefit from his money.

Meanwhile, according to Beto Cassua, Ukumbo cries a lot and starts valuing the mother after uncovering that his girlfriend, Lena, betrayed him with his best friend, Aníbal.

The play aims at warning the society, especially youths on the importance and the real value of parents.
