Huila
Hosts African photographers display

Luanda - A 13-day photo exhibition by five African artists will be on display from March 15, in the southern Huila province, in a promotion of the Angola Espirito Santo Bank (Besa) and the World Press Photo, Angop has learnt.

 

The initiative is part of a campaign dubbed preserving the Earth Planet, of the Ministry of Environment.

 

It comprises photos of five Angolan cities, portraying on sustainable development, mainly deep waters, earth and health, energy resources, soils and mega-cities, being that the authors are from Angola, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.

 

The exhibition was already on display in Luanda, Huambo, as well as in Lisbon (Portugal), during the international summit on Earth Planet in November 2009.
