Luanda – The theatre group Etu-Lene display this month in LAASP, its debut work entitled “O corno doi mais do que a morte da mãe”, on the occasion of February 14, a day dedicated to lovers.
The group leading member, Beto Cassua, told ANGOP, that the story is about a well-financial positioned young man called Ukumbu, who got trained thanks to the sacrifice of his vendor mother.
The youth is faced by his family when he refuses to provide financial support to his mother in serious health condition, claiming that his money was only for his girlfriend called Sambita.
However, he cries a lot on the day of his mother death, due to lack of medical care and medicines, and because on the same day he finds out that his girlfriend was having an affair with his best friend.
Beto Cassua said that the story aims to sensitise the young people to have more affection and love for their parents.
Founded on April 26, 1993, the Group Etu-Lene theatre has ten actors, and has in its collection more than 20 displays, including “O feiticeiro e o Inteligente”, “Uiji Uijia”, “Balumuka” and “Kubele e a Sogra que engoliu sapo vivo”.
