Singer needs USD 15,000 to record debut CD

Lubango – Angolan singer Luissandra Martins is in need of USD 15,000 to fulfil her dream of recording her first album, which is entitled "Perdão (pardon)".


The musician, who has been postponing her goal for over five years, told ANGOP that she has already prepared 10 tracks to be included in the CD, besides other 20 lyrics and melodies of her collection.


Luissandra, one of the most famous musicians of the southern Huíla province, affirmed that in case she obtains the assistance, she hopes to record at the Showas Produções Studios of the city of Lubango, Huíla, and master the project in Lisbon, Portugalo.


According to her, contacts have already been made with various Angolan musicians for them to participate in the album, having added that she wishes to sing alongside local singers such as Matias Damásio, Pérola, Yuri da Cunha, Konde, Patrícia Faria, Showas and R. Voice.
