Entertaining programme celebrates 3rd anniversary with Semba

 

Luanda – The entertaining programme dubbed “Musonguê da Tradição”, an initiative of the Cultural and Recreational Kilamba centre, commemorated Sunday in Luanda its 3rd anniversary with a homage to the Angolan rhythm Semba.

 


To enliven the program, the centre’s management selected music cast consisting of singers such as Maya Cool, Lulas da Paixão, Calabeto and Bangão.

 

 
Holders of a rich artistic menu, the singers, who were accompanied by Maravilha band were viewed by about 600 people.

 


Started in February 2007, “Musongue da Tradição” is a programme that aims the promotion and dissemination of Angolan music produced in the 1960’, 1970’s and 1980's.
