Luanda – The director general of "Step Models" modelling agency, promoter  of the "Moda Luanda" fashion show, Karina Barbosa, on Saturday here expressed satisfaction at the manner in which the 13th edition of this event happened.

In declarations to ANGOP, at the end of the event held at a tent placed on the field of the Ine-Marista secondary school, Karina Barbosa said that the designers showed their best with fabulous collections and above all with world trends.

 
“We can say that this Moda Luanda was exceptional, since the designers were very  committed and produced five-star works”, she stated.

 
The source added that this year's event shows how much the Angolan fashion is progressing, judging by the fact that the number of designers in the country has been increasing, most of them trained abroad.
 

On her turn, the designer Dina Simão, winner of the category for best designer of the year 2009 of the Moda Luanda, said that although she is very pleased with the award, she was not expecting to win it.
