Luena – The first provincial secretary of Angolan ruling Mpla party, João Ernesto dos Santos “Liberdade”, on Thursday was re-elected to the post for one more five-year term, during the 10th local conference.

The delegates to the meeting, elected thereby 115 members of the new provincial committee, 75 participants to the 6th congress of the ruling party that will take place in December in Luanda.

At the meeting, three members of the central committee were re-elected to the central committee and elected three candidates to the top division of party, including a substitute. 

The re-elected first secretary thanked the members for the trust showed, having promised to continue working towards the development of MPLA.
