Luanda – The Gala of Miss Angola Benelux will be organized Saturday in  Dordrecht, Netherlands, informed a press note from Angolan embassy to Belgium that  reached Angop on Monday.

The communiqué refers that the event will have the participation of 10 candidates to be  dressed by Portuguese fashion designer, Fernando Augustus.

 
In the ambit of the event, members of Miss Angola Benelux committee were recently received  by Angola ambassador to Belgium, Elisabeth Simbrão.

At the meeting, the ambassador heard committee’s concerns and encouraged them to go  ahead with the project because it will reinforce the country’s image.

She also advised the head of Miss Angola Benelux committee, Gilberto da Silva to get  excellence and manifested availability to sponsor these kinds of events.

The last edition of Miss Angola Benelux organized in Brussels, Belgium was won by 18-year  old Angolan student Fatima Mendes.

Benelux is a union of three countries namely Belgium (BE), Holland (NE, from Netherlands) and Luxemburg.
