Luena – Youths from the Seventh Day Adventist Church this Wednesday donated goods to 86 elderly people of the Luena home of the aged, in the capital city of eastern Moxico province.

The donation is made up of rice, flour, cooking oil, soap, cooking utensils, used clothes and blankets, among others.

To the district director for youths, Ezequiel Paipy, the offer will reduce some difficulties faced by the elderly.

On the other hand, Adelaide Chissola, aged 72, thanked for the church’s gesture and encouraged youths to continue with these kinds of deeds.

In February of 2010, Moxico province will have a shelter home to host 180 elders.
