Huíla
Official concerned about training of cultural actors

Lubango - Provincial director of Culture in southern Huíla province, Maria Marcelina Gomes has expressed worry about the lack of vocational training of staff in domains of choreography, scenic arts and music, leading to the poor quality of the final product.

Speaking Thursday to Angop in Lubango city, Maria Marcelina Gomes, said that the province has no qualified staff in choreography domain and other in subjects, thus hampering the quality of works conducted by actors.

According to the official, this concern has recently been expressed to the minister of Culture, Rosa Cruz e Silva, during her working visit to Huila province.

To her, the training of specialists in these areas in the province will enable the development of cultural activities without constraints and with good quality.
