Luanda – The third edition of  the Prêt-à-Porter Luanda-verão 2009/2010” fashion contest, promoted by the Step Models agency, is set to take place on November 5, in Luanda.

Prêt-a-Porter is a fashion show, aimed at divulging customers and fashion cloths that might be available in Luanda’s best stores.

Each store will select a collection of 15 looks that represent their image, as a way of captivating customers and show cloths they might find in shops.

The event aims at creating didactic material, especially books, for a schools of Luanda province.

The stores participating at the Prêt-à-Porte will contribute to libraries, thus, donating Portuguese, French and English dictionaries, including geography and literature books by Angolan authors.

The action is to create libraries with about 300 books, encyclopaedias and dictionaries to be made available freely for students to study, research, enrich their culture, thus encouraging the increase of reading habits among the youths.
