Cabinda – Nilda Sassa, 22,  was elected Miss Cabinda 2009, during a ceremony held at Chiloango cultural centre in the capital of the northern province.
 

Miss Cabinda 2009 received as an awards Usd 10,000, clothes  estimated at USD 1,000, beauty treatment and accommodation for one week in local “Por do Sol” Hotel.  

The juri, headed by Bonifácio de Espírito Santos, also elected Eugénia de Pina and Vanessa Barros as first and second runners-ups,  respectively. 

During the pageant contest, which counted on the participation of 13 candidates, Rosa Lopes was also distinguished as miss photogenic and friendly, having won a course of computer skills and Usd 1,000. 

The ceremony of election of Miss Cabinda was enlivened by the singers Lelo, Vik, Rei Hélder, Ary, Susana Lubrano and Grace Évora.
