Syrian rebels put up stiff resistance in Aleppo

Aleppo - Syrian rebels fiercely resisted the troops of the regime of President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday in Aleppo, a key town in a conflict marked by atrocities, with executions carried out by both parties.

Meanwhile, an Arab ministerial meeting on Syria scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia was postponed to an undetermined date.

Four days after it launched its ground offensive to expel the rebels from Aleppo (north), tanks and combat aircraft of the Army maintain the bombing of several neighborhoods.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (OSDH), the neighborhoods of Chaar, Tariq al-Bab, Hanano, Boustane Salaheddine al-Qasr have been targeted by violent artillery fire.
