Luanda – The Ministry of Education announced on Friday that the lessons at the general teaching were interrupted as from 3 August 2012 and will be resumed only in 10 September.

According to a press note from the Ministry of Education that reached Angop, the readjustment of the school calendar defined by the decree of 3 August 2012 happens on account of the teachers’ participation in the electoral process.

The document also reads that the activities related to the second quarter ended on Friday and the third one starts on September 10 and will finish in the period established for the 2012 academic year passed by the decree 78/1, of February 29.
