Ecunha - Angolan minister of Education Mpinda Simão inaugurated Tuesday a 26-classroom school in Ecunha district, 45 km off the capital of the central Huambo province.
The infrastructure has the capacity to cater for 3,510 students of the II cycle of secondary education, distributed into three shifts.
For inauguration of school, the minister was accompanied by the provincial governor Fernando Faustino Muteka, local government members and officials of Education Ministry.
The construction of school infrastructure, called "Mártires da Canhãla" lasted 12 months and cost 232.9 million kwanzas, as part of the programme of public investment of the
province.
This is the third 26-room school inaugurated in Huambo province this year.
