Training of students shows government's staff policy

Luanda – The training of young students abroad, like those who arrived from China, emphasises the importance of staff training policy implemented by the Angola government, said Monday in Luanda the secretary of State for Construction, the engineer Joanes André.

Joanes André was speaking to Angop at "4 de Fevereiro" International Airport in Luanda at the end of welcoming ceremony of the students from China.

After stressing the training of young people, the official said that a country without staff is deprived of future.

According to him, the training of the new personnel will enable them to monitor the works, thus contributing to the maintenance and drafting of projects in cooperation with the Chinese companies, as they share the same language.

The Secretary of State for Construction also referred to another group of 60 Angolan students, also belonging to Ministry of Public Works and Urbanisation, who are also expected to end their training within two to three years in China.

Angola and China maintain excellent relations of cooperation in various levels, with stress to the field of civil construction in the specialities of construction and rehabilitation of  roads, bridges and railways.
