Luanda – Twenty nine Angolan students of the 31 that graduated in civil engineering from China’s universities, returned on Monday in Luanda, after five years of training in that Asian country, Angop learned here.
The students under the Ministry of Public Works and Urbanisation were welcomed at the Luanda’s “4 de Fevereiro” International Airport by the secretary of State for Construction, Joanes André, accompanied by officials from his office.
Angop learned that the students graduated from the Chang Sha University of Science and Technology, with their specialities focusing mainly on building of roads and bridges.
Speaking to journalists on arrival, the new graduates expressed their readiness to contribute to the reconstruction of the country.
Angola and the People’s Republic of China enjoy excellent relations of cooperation at various levels, with stress to civil construction and rehabilitation of roads, bridges and railways.
