Luanda, - The Conference on Higher Education, sponsored since Monday in Luanda by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCT) should be regular and biannually.

This was expressed by the sector minister, Maria Candida Teixeira, while addressing the meeting.

According to her, it is the intention of the institution to hold annually the Conference on Higher Education, in alternation with the National Conference on Science and Technology.

The initiative allows the participants to discuss major challenges faced by the institutions of higher education, under its mission of teaching, research and expansion.

This is the first edition taking place in University Campus under the slogan “Higher education in the framework of national strategy of development”.

Attended the meeting, slated to close Wednesday, MPs, principals of various universities, diplomats, academicians, students, among others.
