Luanda - The first phase of the technical methodological meeting of class coordinators of the State-run primary education and beginning class opened Monday in Luanda, Angop learnt.
The opening ceremony was presided over by the vice-minister for General Education and Social Action, Ana Paula Inês.
The meeting going under the slogan “Coming with doubt and leaving without doubt” is intended to reinforce the technical and pedagogical leadership skill of the class coordinators with a view to improving the teaching methods, as well as guiding the work in the class they coordinate.
Sharing experiences and educational and methodological procedures enabling the creation of inter-learning groups for programmatic study and selection of teaching means focusing on local resources, identifying and disseminating good teaching practises, are part of the agenda.
The participants will discuss, among other matters, “Presentation and analysis of regulation of primary education schools”, “the class coordinator's role”, “planning of class and methodological meeting”, “criteria for working out school calendar” and “school regulation tool”.
Attending the six-day event are 108 technicians of the Education Ministry and class coordanators of the provinces of Luanda, Lunda Sul, Kuando Kubango, Lunda Norte, Lunda Sul, Moxico, Kwanza Norte, Uíge, Malanje, Zaire and Bengo.
