Belas University to send students to Portugal

Lisbon – Belas University Monday, in Lisbon, signed with the Municipal Chamber of Barreiro, Setúbal district and “Coração Tropical Formação” company, a cooperation protocol, aiming at sending Angolan students to the Higher Technology School, in Portugal.

 

According to the principal of Belas University, Agatângelo Estêvão Zua, the three-party agreement will enable, for the first phase, going to Portugal at least 300 to 600 young students for graduating in the specialities of health science, engineer and aeronautic, as well as masters in international relations, human resources management, hospital management, Law, Accountancy, among others.
 

The principal of the Municipal Barreiro’s Chamber, Carlos Humberto de Carvalho, said he wishes that “Angolan students may integrate themselves in the district”. “It will be our greatest contribute towards Angola’s development”, he said.
 

The ceremony was witnessed by the Angolan ambassador to Portugal, José Marcos Barrica, on behalf of the Foreign minister, George Chikoti.

 

Portugal was represented by the Principal of the Portuguese Institute for Supporting Development (IPAD); Manuel Correia, on the behalf of the Portuguese Foreign minister, Paulo Portas.
