INABE releases 6,000 domestic scholarships


 

Luanda – A total of 6,000 internal scholarships has been made available for the 2012 school year by the National Institute of Scholarship (INABE), Angop learned Wednesday in Luanda.


The information was released by INABE director, Jesus Baptista, during a meeting with State-run and privately-owned university principals.


During the meeting, Jesus Baptista spoke of the procedures candidates have to follow to win a scholarship, adding the country’s 18 provinces will benefit.

 
According to the official, priority goes to courses of Science (1,500 places),  Engineering (1,500), Technology (1,200), Social Science (900), Arts (300) and Humanity (600).

 

As to distribution, the source said Bengo province will get (240), Benguela (480), Bié, Cunene and Cabinda (360) each, Huambo (300), (Huíla 480), Kuando Kubango (360), Kwanza Norte and Kwanza Sul (180), Luanda (1,080), Lunda Norte and Lunda Sul (120), Malanje (480), Moxico (240), Namibe (120), Uíge (180) and Zaire (360).
 

He said candidates can apply on the website (www.inabe.gov.ao).
